Today is a pj kind of day, hanging out at home, watching movies and relaxing. Woke up not feeling well, tummy trouble, hope it's not the flu! Kim is still recouping from the eye surgery. He has one more day off then back to work. Hopefully he will be ok to drive long distances. I have a busy week ahead of me - our clinic is being accredited as a medical clinic for the State of Washington on Monday and Tuesday, then on Wednesday and Thursday, we have an audit going on. I'll be glad when the week is over!

Post Surgery
Well Kim's checkup after the Lasik surgery went well! He now has 20/20 vision in one eye and 20/25 in the other and it's supposed to get even better! Wow! Maybe I should do this too! Thinking about it but I don't know, I'm a big chicken. Kim took me out to breakfast afterward and now he is napping and I'm blogging, lol.
Please pray for my cousin Lynn - she was in a bad motorcycle accident and they had to amputate her leg. She just had a second operation to remove infection, they are trying to save her knee now. Lord, please be with her!

Lasik Surgery
Well this morning my hubby Kim had Lasik surgery. He's napping now as the Dr. prescribed. He'll be all finished with his glasses except for the slim possibility of needing readers for very up close. I wear glasses too but I'm too chicken to have the surgery lol! Maybe after he is all recovered and thinks it's the best thing he's ever done, maybe then I might reconsider but it still makes my stomach queezy!
Living with Bipolar
I happen to be "blessed" with Bipolar. On the one hand, I think it helps with me being a very creative person, on the other hand, it can be difficult making it through this life. I take it one day at a time as the saying goes. Being on medication has been a life saver for me. In the past, I've been hospitalized several times with major depression and all that garbage. Been through the counseling too although I'm pretty bitter about that, not a good experience for me but I'm sure it's helped many individuals. I personally have a relationship with Jesus and I think my faith and medication have been the miracles in my life that keep me going along with a great family and all the support and love they give me! Although sometimes it's still a day to day struggle, for the most part, I've been pretty stable for the past 7 years, thank you Lord!
Welcome!
Welcome, my name is Vicki. I'm married to a wonderful man Kim, going to be 33 years this coming November. We have two children, Adam who is married to a terrific gal Lisa and Hollie who is single but in a relationship with a great guy Matt. We live in Vancouver, Washington which is right on the Oregon border close to Portland. I work as a bookkeeper/jack of all trades at a Pregnancy Clinic and my hubby is a Trucker. We own our own truck and he is leased on with Mitchell Brothers here in town. We are empty nesters and loving it!
